A growing number of companies, especially the small medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) participating in the development of new products often rely on new materials, and the trend: The development potential is increasing.
Dortmund has already had considerable success in the field of surface engineering. In addition, the industrial character of our site and the existing Micro-and Nanotechnology Cluster (MNT cluster) offer a sound basis for a more strategic networking with neighbouring regions - and promote the settlement of material manufacturers such as a specialist supplier to the micro-technology industry further.
